Isaac's Birthday

Isaac turned 32 this year.  Boy are we getting old.  I have really struggled with finding good gifts for Isaac lately.  His birthday is so close to Christmas that it is hard to come up with things so close together.  But this year Sophie really wanted to get him a Bug Book.   (Actually she wanted to get him one about bees, ants, butterflies, etc. and I eventually convinced her we could find one book with all that.)  Sophie was also really sweet and drew at least 9 pictures and notes for Daddy's birthday.  Isaac said that opening up her love notes was the best present he ever received.

Isaac and I were also able to go on a date night to one of Isaac's favorite restaurants, Layla's Mediterrian Grill.  It was a fun day.
