Isaac has still been working on finishing the painting. He is mostly done now. It's been a big project, but looks so much better and lighter now.

The two bathrooms on the main floor have finally been finished. We hired someone to do the plumbing and tile. But we did the framing, drywall, painting, installing the vanities, and electrical ourselves. It took quite a while, but looks nice now that it's done. I think my parents are really going to like having their own bathroom.

One time when we got there my parents found hundred of dead honeybees in the cabin. As I was walking around outside, I noticed a huge hive by my bedroom window. Isaac is going to try and harvest the hive into a bee box next time we go up there. He's always wanted to have bees, so now is his chance. (Hopefully he doesn't fall 25 feet off the ladder trying to get the hive down.)
The kids had a lot of fun up their with cousins. They spent hours playing in the tiny stream that runs under the driveway. They made boats and had stick races. We also shot bows and arrows and the bb gun.
That's about all I remember from it blurring in with all the other trips we've had up there. I need to keep up with this blog better so I remember more details.
