Trip to Logan

We had the Get Out Pass again this year, so we decide to take another quick weekend trip to Logan.  The kids had a lot of fun the last time we went there, so we decided to do it again.  My parents met us up there part of the time as well.

The kids really wanted to go to the arcade where they each won a stuffed animal last time.  Last year each person got $20 in arcade tokens, but they didn't have that offer this year.  So instead of having $100 in tokens, we had about $10.  So they didn't get very good prizes and weren't as thrilled.

We went to a park and let the kids play.

One day Isaac took the kids up to Cherry Peak to go skiing with my dad.  My mom and I stayed at the hotel with Hazel (and my foot was still healing).  They had fun, but I don't know much about what happened since I wasn't there.  My mom and I hung out and went to Olive Garden for lunch.

One night for dinner we went to Angie's.  It is a restaurant famous for their "kitchen sink" ice-cream challenge.  Some college boys on the table next to us got one and it was a lot of ice-cream.  We got a dessert of brownies and ice-cream and were shocked with how big it was.  Sophie said it was her favorite restaurant ever because they had breakfast food on the kid's menu and they had really good runny sunnyside-up eggs.  (Yuck!)

It was a short trip, but fun to get away for a little bit.
