Easter

Isaac and I are terrible parents because we didn't do anything for Sophie to celebrate Easter. No Easter basket, candy, dress, etc. The worst part is that I didn't even think about doing anything until we were at church and all the kids in my primary class started telling me all the cool stuff the Easter bunny left for them. Oops.

Fortunately the day after Easter Sophie received a package from her grandma with an Easter dress and stuffed bunny. Isaac's mom made Sophie this cute dress and it fits perfectly. (The pictures aren't great because I took them with my cell phone. In the second one I had to help Sophie stand up by holding her up with my feet while I took the picture.)

(Note: Sophie has a new hobby of vibrating her tongue and spitting all the time. She will spit for hours at a time. Notice the spit-wad dangling on her chin in the picture above--my cute baby girl. But I suppose it makes sense considering who her mother is.)

On Easter we went to church where we were incredibly late getting there. Then I had to teach an impromptu primary lesson because some other teachers didn't show up. I am sure my lesson was awful, but hopefully they got my main point that Easter is not about the Easter bunny.

Then we had a bunch of friends over for Easter dinner. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of that either, but the food was delicious.
