My family, Grandpa Dee, Grandma Sugar, Kevin, Jason, Jamie and Steve were all there. We brought up some games, including a gravity challenge and laser/mirror game. It was fun to have time to relax and enjoy being together.
One day we went skiing at the lift by Cokeville. My mom and I spent the majority of the day in the lodge with Hazel, but I got out for a few runs with the kids. Sophie is getting to be a really good skier. Aspen started out hesitant and fell a few times, but by the end of the day she was doing great. Luke was a disaster at first, but by the end he could stand and ski on his own. He still wasn't great about turning and stopping, but he's doing great for one of the first times he's been skiing.
The night before we were going to leave, my dad heard that a big storm was coming. They all started panicking and were going to leave that night. Isaac and I decided to stay because it would have been too late to pack everything up and drive home in the dark. When we decided to stay, the rest of them did too, except for Jason. His little car didn't have 4-wheel drive, so he decided to leave. He hadn't been gone for 5 minutes when he called saying he drove off the road into a snowbank. Haha. My dad went and towed him out so it was fine, but it was still funny.
