The leagues around her are co-ed, and I really don't like it. My girls just can't compete with the little boys. The boys are too fast and way more aggressive, so the girls hardly get any play time at all.
Sophie has perfected the technique of following the ball close enough that we don't get mad at her, but far enough away that she doesn't ever have to actually touch the ball.
Aspen actually can play fairly well if she wants to. She has been way better with Victoria on her team because she has someone to compete against, or show off for.
We also started the girls in a new tumbling league at TumbleTek. Sophie is in a class with her friends Arie and Josie. Aspen is in a class with Victoria. Aspen seems to enjoy tumbling.
But Sophie doesn't really like it. The room she is in is really loud and has 4 or so classes going at the same time. She doesn't really get much one-on-one help, so she doesn't seem to be progressing much. The old place we went to was definitely a lot more fun. But once the main lady stopped teaching it really went downhill. So I'm not sure what to do...
