Luke at 15 and 16 months

I'm constantly behind with these posts, but I want to keep trying for my personal records and journal.

Luke is such a sweet little guy.  He's almost always happy (although he has been grunting for candy a lot since Easter).  The other day we went to a restaurant with my parents and Luke was smiling and giggling the whole time.  My mom asked if I gave him "happy pills" because he's such a cheese-ball some times.

Luke is starting to talk more.  He can say mama, dada, ba (ball), drink, wa-wa (water), nana (candy), cookie, bye-bye, hi (which he says to everyone we pass at the grocery store.  It's adorable), shoe, and a few things I can't remember.

He can also tell us a few animal sounds like cat, dog, horse, snake, fish, wolf, cow, and sheep (although some times he still mixes them up).

Luke is all boy.  My dad asked the other day if Luke ever walks anymore.  He is ALWAYS running.  He loves balls and throwing things.  He loves dirt and rocks

.  He loves hitting things (mostly Aspen) with anything stick-like he can find.  And lately he has started hitting a lot.

He's been getting more opinionated and throwing tantrums if he doesn't get his way.  But usually it's pretty funny when he flops on the ground dramatically.  But he does seem to have anger management problems because he tries to hit whatever is closest to him when he's mad.

One day he was tired while I was in the shower, and when I came downstairs he had fallen asleep on the floor.  He's my first kid to ever do that (and he's almost fallen asleep in the high chair a couple times).  But usually he loves to snuggle and likes me to rock him to sleep for naps.

But most of the time he's a really happy little guy.  He is definitely spoiled and has us all wrapped around his little finger.  We love our little Lukey man.
