Sophie is 10 Months Old

Right after getting to Utah, Sophie turned 10 months old!  Sophie is such a wonderful, happy baby.  When the grandparents came to Milwaukee, I was worried that Sophie would be attached to me because she hasn't ever really been around other people much, but she loved them instantly.  She loved the attention they gave her and that she wasn't stuck with her boring mama all the time.  Sophie definitely knows how to get what she wants.  She just has to flash her toothy grin and people just melt. 

Here are some things that happened over the last month:

• Sophie still doesn't like sleeping.  She is very difficult to get down for naps and doesn't sleep through the night yet.  I still have to get up and feed her once during the night.
• Sophie is crawling like crazy.  She gets into everything and we need to watch her constantly.
• Sophie is a great eater.  She eats up to three tubs of baby food at a time.  She doesn't like the stage 3 food with the chunks.  She is getting better about eating "real" food, but still only likes select things that are easy to eat.
• Sophie has a great sense of humor and is a tease.  My mom had a cough when Sophie met her, so anytime Sophie saw my mom she would start fake coughing to imitate her.  She and my mom now frequently have coughing wars.  My dad makes a clicking sound when he sees Sophie and she will start bouncing to it like he is a great musician.  She also learned how to click her tongue like grandpa.  
• Sophie loves all her relatives and gets very excited when she sees Grandma Karla because she gets to pull her hair.
