A lot has happened since my last post, so I will do my best to catch up with our recent life changes. Isaac graduated from Medical School in May. My parents and Isaac's parents were able to fly out for graduation and to help us move back to Utah.
It was fun being able to show our families around Milwaukee a little so they could see where we lived for the past four years. We went to Grant Park and walked the trails down to Lake Michigan. We went for a tour around MCW so they could see where Isaac went to school. And we attended Isaac's graduation (where he wore a very nice Harry Potter costume).
We ended up sitting high in the balcony seating for the ceremony, so the pictures didn't turn out very good. But I am so proud of Isaac for all his hard work through medical school. He always excelled in all of his classes and worked so hard. But more importantly he put our family first and would always come home for dinner and spend time with me in the evenings instead of studying all the time. Isaac always studied at home, instead of at the school library, so that he could be around in case I needed him. He tried hard to keep his weekends free and would try to spend Saturdays and Sundays with me. I really appreciate all he did for me and that he also chose a specialty that will allow him to have good hours so he can be an involved husband and father. Congratulations Isaac!
