Baby Showers

Before Sophie was born I had a few wonderful baby showers. I have been very blessed and have felt so much support from everyone who helped or attended one of my showers. I am still in the process of writing proper Thank You cards, but I have never been very good at that.

My first shower was with a bunch of ladies from my old job. We met for dinner at Olive Garden and were able to catch up. I hadn't seen many of these ladies for over a year, so it was wonderful to talk with them again. My wonderful friend Kathie organized everything and it turned out perfectly.

I also had an amazing baby shower from my Milwaukee friends. I have made so many great friends from church out here and they are always a great support to me. My friends Lucy, Julie, and Tiffany threw me an amazing shower. The food was delicious and the decorations were amazing. The entire night was so much fun.

Sophie got so many great gifts. She got the cutest outfits--much cuter than I could have picked out myself.


This is a picture of the food--unfortunately this was taken after we all dug into everything. But you can see how we devoured it.

I also had a shower at my work. The whole company gets together for a pot-luck to celebrate the upcoming baby. My boss, Michelle, and coworker, Allison, were the masterminds behind this party. The food was delicious and the gifts were absolutely perfect. I have the best job.
