As we drove up we saw that the Resort was absolutely ginormous. The whole place was decorated as an African theme with plants, elephants, rhinos, lions, and other wild animals everywhere. In the main lobby of the hotel there were cages with baby kangaroos and two tiger cubs. The hotel rooms were really nice and spacious. The ambiance was a lot of fun.
We spent the first afternoon at the indoor waterpark. The waterpark had about 6 slides, surfing wave, lazy river, wave pool, and hot tubs. The inside of the waterpark was also decorated with the African theme. All the walls had really nice safari murals painted on them.
There were two main rides that were the most fun. On of them we called "The Toilet Flush". You body slide down a tube and pop out into a funnel. After spinning around the funnel you fall out the hole and land in a pool of water about 4 feet down. The best part about this slide was watching everyone else fall out of the hole in awkward positions and come out of the water completely disoriented. After Isaac went down this slide he said, "Now I know what poo feels like". Isn't he a cutie? ;)
The other cool ride was the surfing wave. We didn't get to try surfing, but we did the body surfing. You have to dive off an inclined "wave"and land on a little boogie board. We were all worried about biffing it on that initial jump and looking like idiots, but we all did it successfully. Even my dad tried, and body surfed like a pro. There was a lifeguard who would stay at the bottom of the wave and try to teach you how to do some tricks. Everyone in my family was surprisingly good at this ride. Unfortunately we didn't get to do this ride more than twice because the line was so long. But we did get some fun pictures.
This is one of me diving onto the board. It's a little blurry, but it is a good shot of the entry onto the wave.

The next day we spent the morning in the waterpark again. And in the afternoon we went to the indoor theme park. The theme park had a lot of things to do like: a cool ropes course, rock climbing, laser tag, mini golf, go-carts, and a carouse wheel.
This is a picture of us getting ready to go on the ropes course. I thought this was a ton of fun. The course had two levels one about 15 feet off the ground and one about 30 feet off the ground. Isaac really didn't like the ropes course, so he got off before the second level.
This is a picture of my little sister kicking my butt in our race up the climbing wall. (Disclaimer: Jamie had an unfair advantage because she was on the easier course and she is so tall she can reach things much higher than me. Although I am sure she would have wasted me anyway.)
Isaac was the most excited to play laser tag, but he was disappointed when it was "every man for themself" instead of "teams". After the first game Isaac was mad because he didn't do very well. But I kicked everyone's trash, so I really enjoyed it. One the second round I smoked everyone too. It was fun.
We also had a lot of fun playing "Bang" with the family. It was really good to have everyone come visit us and finally see where we live. We just wish they were close enough to come visit more often.
