Milwaukee Zoo

Last weekend Isaac and I went to the Milwaukee Zoo. Every once in a while, they have a free zoo day for the general public. It was a beautiful Saturday morning, so Isaac and I decided to go. Unfortunately, the entire city of Milwaukee had the same idea. The zoo was insanely crowded. Because of the crowds we walked quickly through the whole park and were done in about 1.5 hours. It was still great to get out an have some fun.

I have been loving my new camera. The zoom on this camera is awesome! The pictures of these bears makes it seem like we were up really close to the animals. But nope, the zoom on the pictures gave us a way better view than we saw in person.

My camera also has an aquarium function that I tried out. The zoo has an exhibit with fish and other water creatures that can be found in Lake Michigan. Enjoy my pictures through the glass tanks. I thought some of them turned out fairly well considering.

The zoo also has 2 baby Siberian tigers, but it was so crowded, with kids swarming everywhere, that we barely go to see the babies. Too bad. Tigers (white) are one of my all-time favorite animals. But I did get to see the Gray Wolf, which is my other favorite animal.

Those are great pictures! You've inspired me to get to know my own camera a little better...maybe we have zoom like that too?!

Those bears look awesome! I'm gettin the urge for a new fancy camera. I'm sick of always having red eyes and some poor quality shots. That story about your car accident was entertaining to say the least, but terribly unfortunate. People are idiots!
