Lagoon

Right before Isaac finished his fellowship we were able to go to the ARUP Lagoon day.  (It was pretty much the only perk of his entire time at the U.)

As soon as we got there I wanted to go on the new ride called "The Cannibal".  Unfortunately I gave Isaac my cell phone because there were signs everywhere saying "the Cannibal will eat your cell phone".  I was able to go in the single rider only line and get on really fast, so Isaac took the kids to do some rides without me.  But then it was hard to find him because I had no way to reach him.  Ha ha.  Such are the inconveniences of modern living.

Then we spent most of the day at the kiddie section.  Sophie and Aspen had a blast going on all the rides.  Luke mostly seemed confused.  He didn't cry or scream on any of them, but he didn't seem to enjoy them a lot either.

Hannah and Wade were able to meet us there.  And Wade was dressed as a wizard.  A few weeks before they filmed a funny (and weird) video of Wade becoming a wizard at the farm.  Sophie and Aspen really believe he's a wizard, so he dressed up just for them.

We were also able to take a break in the afternoon and get some Popsicles from ARUP.  Unfortunately we didn't get to go to Lagoon-a-Beach because it was crazy crowded.  But the kids can't swim well anyway, so I'm sure they'll have more fun another year when they can actually go down the water slides.

We ended up staying until about 5pm and were exhausted and ride-ed out.  But we had a great time and love watching the kids have so much fun.  (The worst part about the day was that I took Sophie on the white roller coaster and she HATED it.  She started bawling and saying "I want to get off" over and over.  I felt really bad and hope I didn't ruin her for life.)
