As of yesterday, I am 33 weeks along. Hooray! I am always worried about preterm labor throughout my pregnancy, so it has been a huge relief to make it this far without anything significant happening. I haven't been taking weekly pictures of my belly this time around, so you won't be able to see how fat I am getting. But I have been really surprised how different this pregnancy has been from being pregnant with Sophie. Here are some of my observations:
- I was constantly starving with Sophie. I frequently had to get up in the middle of the night for a snack with Sophie, but that hasn't happened at all this time. In fact, I haven't really been very hungry this pregnancy. No weird food cravings. I can wake up in the morning and don't even really feel like eating breakfast.
- My feet were really puffy with Sophie and I had to wear my "fat shoes" most of the time. I can still see my ankle bones this time and don't seem to be retaining water.
- I still hate bending over to pick things up--which happens all the time cleaning up after an almost 2 year old.
- I still need to pee all the time and am uncomfortable at night. But it seems to be more temperature dependent and I don't sleep well when it's hot.
