Valentine's Day

Our family had a great Valentine's Day. When I first gave Sophie her elephant, she didn't like it at all. I tried to make it give her a hug and kiss, but that made her start crying. (It was pretty funny.) But after a little acclimatization, she now enjoys her elephant. I gave Isaac a set of games that we can play with just the two of us and the movie "Where the Wild Things Are". (When it came out, I heard that movie got good reviews, but it was awful. Isaac and I suffered our way through it, but I don't know why anyone would want their kids watching that movie it doesn't have any good messages and is really depressing.) Anyway, Isaac gave me flowers, donuts, and the Lord of the Rings movies. He put together a really sweet scavenger hunt for me to find his gifts. And I cooked Isaac a nice dinner. Altogether we had a great holiday.
