For those of you who know me well, you know that I'm not really a crafty person. I'm more the type that likes to sit on my butt reading a good book or watching Survivor. If I do crafty things, they usually need to involve power tools of some sort. But this year my mom sent me some holiday crafts to make.
The first one is a Christmas advent calendar made out of a muffin tin. My mom used some fancy punch to cut out all the circles that cover the muffin holes, so all I had to do was clue everything together in the arrangement of my choice. The little circles stick to the muffin tin using magnets. The goal is to put candy in each hole and then open it every day. But unfortunately the muffin tin is sloped so my candy likes to explode out and onto the floor. I tried taping the candy inside, but sometimes they still like to annoy me by popping off.
The other thing I made is a holiday (for Christmas and maybe Valentine's Day) wreath. This is my very first wreath. (I know I am lame when it come to decorations.) All you need is about 1 yard of red felt, a bazillion pins, and a Styrofoam wreath base thingy. Then you cut out about a million 3 inch circles in the felt, fold it in fourths and pin it into the Styrofoam. It was really easy, but the felt did take a couple hours to cut out. I think it looks really nice.

I'm impressed! I'm not even a little bit crafty and feel a little like a grinch because I never hang up cool holiday decorations. Those are both really cute ideas!
I love the wreath! I would love to make one but im banned from Michaels till i have a budget again, which is probably never. Nice job though!
