Chicago

On Saturday Isaac and I went to Chicago with Isaac's cousin and family. Isaac's cousin has been to Chicago many times and offered to show us around. But he also had a little baby, so we weren't able to do much besides walk around downtown. Here are some pictures from the trip.

The buildings downtown are huge. Many of them have really intricate carvings all the way to the top.

Isaac said he would never park in this parking garage.

This is the river that the city of Chicago dyes green for St. Patrick's Day. That must use a lot of dye.

This is the plaza that Harrison Ford ran through in the Fugitive when he escaped into the St. Patrick's Day parade. (Does anyone else think this holiday is over celebrated in Chicago?)

We spent the majority of our time looking at "The Bean". This is a cool sculpture that reflects the city of Chicago.

That bean looks pretty cool. I would love to visit Chicago sometime. How are you guys doing?

Downtown is really cool...and we love "the bean". We've also agreed that the parking garage looks like it could dump the cars into the river at any moment :)
