When Will Winter End?

As you can tell, I am not very good about updating my blog regularly. Why? Because I don't have kids to take cute and fun pictures of regularly. And I am sure you don't really want to see pictures of Isaac and my ugly mugs. :)

Things in Milwaukee have been incredibly routine and dull. Isaac and I are definitely ready for winter to end. Do you know what the most popular winter activity in Milwaukee is? It's running from your car to the nearest building as fast as possible to get in from the cold. (That's why Milwaukee is one of the fattest states in the US.) We have been trying to find something fun to do for a few days over spring break, but we aren't coming up with any ideas.

On a positive note, Isaac's school is going very well. He is really enjoying his classes and learning a lot. We have been pleasantly surprised to find that all the horror stories about medical school have been a lie (at least so far). Isaac and I spend tons of time together. We go to sleep at our regular time every night. We try to find fun things to do over the weekends. I am gone much more than Isaac is. Also, my job is going well. I have been working here for just over 6 months, and things are moving along well. Probably the worst part about living away from home is that we don't have parents and in-laws to feed us delicious meals. Isaac and I are defintely getting sick of cooking all the time.

Well, that about sums up our last month. Hopefully I will have more interesting things to post soon.

I think Tennessee has you beat as far as fat people are concerned. Here, people can't even fun! They even make plus sizes for kids. I am serious!

The first year of medical school, wow what was that like? I try to forget.. Residency gets better that's all I know. Kevin loves his 80 hour work weeks, and so do I. NOT!

It was great talking to you the other day, let's do it again SOON!
