The Joys of Children

Isaac really loves children. He thinks they are the funniest things in the world and gets great enjoyment from watching them interact with the world. The other night we were watching an old re-run of a tv show. There was a scene when a little boy walked into the room and said something like, "I pooped in my bed and put it the tv". Well, Isaac thought that was the funniest thing he had ever seen. He was laughing so hard he almost fell off the couch onto the floor. The only thing I was thinking was, "you think that is joke, but that really happens". I remember some neighbors in the Village told us about how when their daughter was little, she somehow removed her poopy diaper and wiped the pooh all over the tv and speakers. Yuck! Anyway, I am posting this now because someday when Isaac realizes kids are not just funny toys and our child wipes their pooh all over the house I will see how hard he is laughing. (But I do have to admit that since we have never had to deal with those situations yet, it is really hilarious.) Good luck to all the parents out there!
