Easter

This year we had a great Easter.  I tried to teach Sophie the true meaning of Easter.  So whenever someone would ask her what Easter was about she would say, "Jesus died, but then He came back".  I thought it was really cute.

We started the holiday by going to Grandma Karla's house for an egg hunt with cousins.  The eggs were hidden really hard in their foresty yard, so I don't think the kids really "got it".  Then on Sunday morning Sophie had an egg hunt around our house and had a lot of fun.  I think I got a little carried away with the Easter baskets, but it was a lot of fun.

Aspen got some bunny ears and sunglasses (which she used early at Antelope Island).

I love my girls so much.  I think they are the most beautiful kids in the world (and I really don't think I am biased).

 

Sophie has finally started posing and smiling for the camera.  She doesn't like doing it and will fight me on it, but with the right bribe, she will model for a good 2 minutes.  (And with her, that is usually enough to get some really adorable pictures.)
